I’m sorry I’ve been negligent as regards my blog..but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy making all manner of preparations including practising new skills to share with the locals in Diema..
Here you can see my pole lathe wood turning achievement.. Not easy but as I already have basic wood turning skills I managed to create a small wooden outline of a doll.

These new skills and the plans to make the lathe will be one of our projects when I arrive in Mali this season.
If you want to share your skills and volunteer we will be happy to have you onboard.
