These treadle sewing machines were donated by Josef from Budapest.. He wanted to see changes in woman’s lives as we also do.
Each of these machines will be utilised to the full, as each association of women have up to 100 in they’re group.
Each month a few women will have opportunity to come to a small room and take advantage of the machines we provide, allowing them to learn new skills, earn a little, and feed the children..
It’s a fantastic programme, one that has to continue, encouraging all women to develop their individual talents.
Thus changing their lives.
We are so grateful to you all for allowing us to share your donations with those who need them most..
I hope that in time we can expand this programme into schools where young women can also gain experience and learn to design clothes..changing their lives for the better.
