Village Ventures Africa was thrilled to have been able to help so many people in Diema during the month of October 17 when we had 22 Dr’s come and examine 2,400 individuals and change the lives of so many as they operated on 243.It was wonderful, still is wonderful, as we’ve learned how those operations changed so many lives..
An incredible programme…..
But ……
Although we did a wonderful work then, on reflection looking at the overall population of the area, we need to have a follow up programme now.
Reason being, although it seemed an awful lot of people we saw, it’s only 10% of the overall population…
Even the day after the Dr’s had left people came queuing, hoping to see the Dr’s.
It’s important we do this programme once again, giving chance for those who didn’t understand they were getting free treatment, for once in their lives.
Please ask around, we’re desperately searching for a small team to come early next year.
