It’s almost time to return to Africa with the Budapest Bamako car rally..I will not be driving through the desert I’m afraid…I’ve done that in the past and really enjoyed it…albeit very tough especially when stuck in the sand dunes with a sandstorm raging around, with sand biting into your body…
I’ll stick to the main route on this occasion…

On a serious note…
I always take teams from the rally to our orphanage school in Nouakchott….where many donations of clothes toys school books pens and pencils are given…But…
I’ve just received these photos of the school in dire need of repair..
If anyone feels they can support this school in anyway…please consider it…
It’s a shame we have so many orphans, but it’s a greater shame if the school falls into total disrepair..
