Village Ventures Africa becomes a UK Charity UK

Its been a few weeks since a posted a blog on the website.

One reason is that its very difficult when in Mali to have good internet connection right now as the town doesn’t have electricity.
The engines they were using have been inadequate for purpose hence the situation right now.

As we recently became a UK Charity we have been busy trying to set up a giving page and preparing document encompassing our programme for future projects, this will be posted over the next few weeks.

If anyone has been via Diema over the past few weeks I do apologise for any inconvenience we may have caused one one wanting to stay over. You see it was decided that once we became a Charity in UK we should try and raise funds from within Mali as well as from other locations, so we felt we ought to make the most of our land and build an Auberge.
This is a really important step forward for us and for the Town of Diema as there are very few places for people to stay.

We feel it vital that we give opportunity for those interested parties chance to come volunteer, share skills, get hands on experience working with nomadic peoples.
Its a unique experience for all.
