Happy New Year to everyone,
The first foto is of our New Years eve feast..very simple food tried to make it look glam and exciting for those who came to eat.. We cooked all of our food on a tiny charcoal fire.. will popst the fotos on next blog
The second foto is of Laza..a very humble man who is a Roman catholic and helps me here, watering the plants, changing the water for the ducks.. we just had to take this foto.. it was a very cold morning when he arrived with his new turbon on his head.. its not a turbon at all its one of his booboos..a long over dress that many malians and muslims wear..
we thought it would make you smile as it did us and also realise that many do not have sufficient to keep themselves warm in our cold and windy days..sometimes early in the morning the temperature drops to around 10..so its cold whe the day temperature is up to 37..a huge difference.
